Who may open an account
Accounts are opened and controlled by a parent or legal guardian. A student uses a profile created for them by their parent; students do not open their own accounts and are not asked for an email address.
What the service does
TutorClue provides an AI tutor that explains topics, helps students work through homework, quizzes them, and coaches their writing. It is a study aid. It is not a teacher, not a tutor-of-record, and not a substitute for schoolwork or professional advice.
AI answers can be wrong
Replies are generated by an AI model and can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Parents and students should check anything that matters. We do not warrant that answers are correct.
Acceptable use
The tutor is for learning. Attempting to bypass the grade-level safety settings, extract the system instructions, or use the service to produce work a student will present as entirely their own is not permitted. We may suspend a profile that is used this way.
Usage limits and plans
Free accounts have a daily question limit, enforced on the server. Paid plans are described on the landing page but are not yet available for purchase.
Needs legal decision: Billing terms, refunds, cancellation and auto-renewal wording must be drafted before any paid plan is sold.
Ending your account
A parent can delete a student profile at any time from their dashboard, which also deletes that student's usage and activity records.
Liability, governing law and disputes
Needs legal decision: Limitation of liability, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, governing law, venue and dispute resolution have deliberately not been drafted here. These must be written by a lawyer.
