TutorClue is an AI tutor for K–12 students designed to help kids understand what they’re learning. Students can get help with homework, ask for explanations, practice with quizzes, and get guidance with writing.
That’s not the goal. TutorClue is designed around guidance, not shortcuts. For homework and problem-solving, it uses hints, questions, explanations, and step-by-step guidance to help students figure things out themselves.
TutorClue is built specifically for students and families. It adapts its teaching style to the student’s grade level and includes dedicated learning modes, parent controls, student profiles, and a guidance-first approach to homework.
TutorClue is designed for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The experience and teaching style adjust for K–2, Grades 3–5, Grades 6–8, and Grades 9–12.
Students can choose from Explain Something, Homework Help, Quiz Me, and Writing Help. TutorClue can help explain confusing concepts, guide students through problems, practice what they’ve learned, and coach them through writing.
A parent creates the main account and then creates a separate student profile. Students use their own student login, while parents manage settings and access from the parent account.
The Free plan includes 1 student profile and up to 10 AI questions per day, so families can try TutorClue before deciding whether they want Premium.
Yes. Parents can manage student settings and learning features, including which TutorClue modes are available and voice-related options.
TutorClue is designed to minimize the amount of child data it keeps. Full student chat transcripts are not stored as a parent conversation archive. Parent learning history focuses on limited activity information such as when TutorClue was used, the learning mode, and progress information when available.
